Improving lives by directing community resources to local needs

United Way of Nevada County works to support its partners and the residents of Nevada County in building better lives and meeting their basic needs.

Collaboration is the foundation of everything we do. When we work with our partner organizations and our community, we identify gaps in services and mobilize to create meaningful partnerships to fill those gaps. Food Access Saturday, High School Food Pantry, and the Free Health Care Clinic are just some of the successes borne out of these efforts.

Through tax-deductible payroll contributions, companies and their employees can make a real difference in their community -- ensuring your dollars get to the charities and causes you care about most. Helping others increases morale and engages us as citizens. Find out how to get started.

As part of the world’s largest nonprofit network, we maintain deep and enduring relationships across local, state, and federal government, business, and nonprofit sectors.

Established more than 125 years ago, United Way Worldwide is now present in nearly 1,800 communities across more than 40 countries and territories all over the world.
