During this annual day of community action, volunteers are organized to help nonprofits with projects needed to help them do their important work in our community. Over the years, employees from businesses like UPS, Telestream, Texas Instruments, JC Penney and more, have volunteered. Working as a group is great for team building. Students from local schools have also helped with projects for local nonprofits, which can help foster a love for volunteering in young people.
We will need volunteers to do gardening, painting, repairs, organization and clean up at local nonprofits.
