Local artists, Mindy Oberne and Roger Lewis, held an art fundraiser for the 2020 Grass Valley Free 2-day Health Care Clinic. They have made their living in the art world for many years and have a permanent gallery of their works on their property. Three expeditions to Antarctica, via helicopter-equipped Russian icebreakers, have created incredible images of wildlife and scenery rarely captured. “Forty years of Nevada County living have allowed us to photograph the historic local architecture and the beautiful four seasons we experience in these foothills,” said Roger Lewis. All proceeds go to the Health Clinic. To view a video of the gallery, go to www.youtube.com For more information about the gallery, contact Mindy and Roger at email@example.com.

This was a fun event! If you missed out, we will be holding another Wine Summit in November! Guests tasted and learned about superior quality wines, to find the perfect bottle for summer get-togethers, or
that perfect gift for their favorite wine aficionado! Includes wine tasting workshop, light appetizers & the opportunity to purchase exceptional wines at special prices! Live/silent auction! Hosted by Dave Luce, wine broker extraordinaire and owner of Alta Sierra Wine Shop. He provided an informative afternoon as he unfolded the intricacies of a dozen hand selected top quality wines. The sampled wine was available to order during the event. All proceeds go to United Way of Nevada County.
