United Way Sponsored Programs

United Way of Nevada County supports programs that benefit members of our community in many ways. We are very proud to serve the community not only through fund raising for our non-profit partners, but also by providing these beneficial programs.

Food Access Saturday

United Way of Nevada County, in collaboration with Interfaith Food Ministry (IFM) initiated a new food distribution program in May 2017. For those who need food, and are unable to get much-needed supplemental groceries at local food distributions, this new program distributes food on the second Saturday of each month at Interfaith Food Ministry. United Way strives to assure that individuals and families in Nevada County are able to meet their basic need for food, emergency shelter, and health care. Learn more.
